The Journey Continues

The Journey Continues - 13 New Episodes

How you can help

We are raising funds to produce a full 13-episode series containing exciting entertainment that children love and educational content that parents value. The series will be made available globally through digital distribution, television and DVD/Blu-Ray to entertain and inspire children throughout the world. We will distribute through various digital platforms including Netflix, Hulu, iTunes and Amazon as well as our own media platform right here on our website where you can download to view on your mobile, desktop, tablet, smart TV or game console device.

Why 13 Episodes?

  • We want to provide you with all 13 episodes at one time so you and your family can watch one episode after another and enjoy the continuity of the ongoing story, as you would a regular television series.

  • We will gain more viewers on digital media platforms with a full series.

  • The continuity is important to maximize the educational value and impact as children can focus on lessons continuously over a shorter time span and reinforce knowledge through repetition.

  • It's way more cost effective to produce a full series rather than one episode at a time.

Improving the Series

While The Journey Begins has received critical acclaim, positive viewer comments, and numerous awards, we are not trying to say it is perfect. We are making it even better by improving the story, character development, and overall production values, including a new digital animation style.

We are using the audience feedback we have received over the years to make sure we deliver what our viewers most want to see.   And we want even more feedback. So if you have suggestions now, please feel free to share with us.

Next Episode - A Heartbeat from Timbuktu

The second episode takes the kids back in time to England during World War II where they meet Dr. Charles Drew who developed large-scale blood banks for victims of the war.   We learn about the blood stream, blood cells and the challenges Dr. Drew faced. We even see the Timeship transform into miniature mode and enter the blood stream.   Meanwhile, back in present-day U.S., Manny and Kwame are cooking up a heartbeat experiment at school that parallels the lessons about Dr. Charles Drew. All this happens as Nia and crew face off again with the evil Komo as they get closer to rescuing her parents.
